An Exciting Launch

For many of the hours I spent banging my head against my laptop, debugging obscure C++ errors, I wondered whether I could justify putting all this time into a free product. The first few weeks were exciting! My plugin had the fortune of getting picked up by various producer blogs and free-plugin lists, which resulted in tens of articles and videos that I never expected. This was all modest coverage but still resulted in much more attention than I expected! I really feel like my effort has paid off. A tool I made is sitting on thousands of musicians' desktops, hopefully adding some creativity into the world.

I really enjoy seeing user feature requests, even if I hardly can (or want to) implement everything. I wanted to give back to people putting their attention into the plugin with a useful feature update. These changes put the plugin in a place that I am very proud of and can call complete. But the intention of open source is that anyone willing should feel free and welcome to add their own additions, or at the very least use the code as a learning resource. I am always happy to help in setting JAS up for development.
